Requirements To Obtain A VISA To Enter Kuwait
Passport Information
- Passport must be valid 6 months beyond intended stay.
- Passport must have at least two blank visa pages for processing.
- U.S. European, Canadian and Australian Nationals can obtain their visas upon arrival up to 30 days.
- Citizen of all countries not listed above will need to apply through their sponsor in Kuwait for an NOC (No Objection Certificate) once the approval is approved by the immigration in Kuwait, applicants can either ask their sponsor to have their visa ready at the point of entry upon their arrival to Kuwait or we can process their visa at the Kuwait Embassy with all the documents list it below along with the NOC approval.

- Your valid Passport.

- 1 Passport-type photograph.
- A business Letter of Guarantee – Link is required, to be typewritten on your company letterhead and addressed to: Embassy of Kuwait/Visa Section/ Washington D.C., That must clearly explain the purpose of travel; Guarantee financial support for the visit and return transportation; the letter should be signed by an officer or manager of the company, other than the applicant.
- A copy of the approval from the immigration in Kuwait is required.
- Copy of return or onward tickets or travel agency/airline itinerary.

Family Visit Visa
- Your valid Passport.
- 1Visa Application Form - Link, fully completed and signed
- 1 Passport-type photograph.
- HIV test for applicants over 12 years of age.
- An health certificate obtained from the local doctor certifying that the patient is in good health and free from contagious diseases
- Lab test results for the following - Hepatitis B&C - Chest X Ray's for Tuberculosis - Malaria - Filariasis - Syphilis.
- Children under 5 years of age must present an up to date schedule of essential vaccinations.
- A Police report that will reflect, no criminal record. The police report must be certified by the U.S. State Department then legalized by the embassy.
- The accompanying family permit.

Additional Information
- Notice: Effective March 08 2004, the visa to enter Kuwait is issued upon arrival at border entry points for stay up to 30 days. An extension of stay may be applied for locally.
- U.S. Citizens need to have two passport photos on them and $30.00 in cash to obtain visa upon entry.

Q. Do I need to send you my passport in order to receive a visa?
A. Yes, your passport must be submitted with the required paperwork and photos in order to obtain a visa for traveling outside the USA. For visa service in Houston, you can drop off your passport at our agency.
All U.S. Citizens who are traveling by air will now be required to carry a U.S. Passport.
Adults over 19 years of age will require a passport if traveling outside the U.S. by car, including Canada and Mexico.
U.S. Citizens 19 and under do not require a U.S. Passport if they are traveling outside the U.S. by land or sea.
Closed Loop Cruises: U.S. Citizens who board a cruise ship at a port within the United States, travel only within the Western Hemisphere, and return to the same U.S. port on the same ship may present government-issued photo identification, along with proof of citizenship (an original birth certificate or a Consular report of Birth Abroad, or a Certificate of Naturalization).
Note - You may still be required to present a passport card or passport book to enter the foreign country to which you are traveling. Please contact your cruise line to verify which documents are required for your trip.
