Renewing passports? Sam’s Passport and Visa Services can process applications for renewal of passports that have expired or are about to expire. We can also rush and expedite the U.S. passport renewal application process.

In order to successfully renew your passport, the following criteria must be met.

1. You must submit your most current passport.


2. Your most recent passport was issued less than 15 years ago.


3. You must have been at least 16 years old when your most current passport was issued.

Sam's Passport and Visa Services can process this application on your behalf at the U.S. Passport Agency.

The following requirements must be sent in order for us to obtain your passport:

Reminder - If you have any active visas in your passport at the time of renewal, they will be voided and become inactive. Please ensure that you are aware of this before you submit your passport for renewal! Sam's Passport and Visa Service will not be held liable for any cancelled or voided visas due to the renewal process!

All applications must be submitted to Sam's Passport & Visa Service no later than 3:00 PM the previous day in order to be submitted to the Department of State the following day. The day of submission to the Department of State does not guarantee that the application process will begin that day and such events are out of the control of Sam's Passport & Visa Service.

1. Your expired passport or about to expire passport.


2. Secure application Form DS-82 fully completed on-line and signed. Must be completed then printed and submitted to Sam's Passport and Visa Services.
When completing the application, please list Sam's Passport and Visa address: 1811 Bering Drive, Suite #100 - Houston TX 77057) as the mailing address.(Handwritten applications will not be accepted).


3. Two-passport photos (2"x2") front view with a white background.


4. U.S. Department of State Passport Fee is $170.00 per application.


5. Official marriage license or divorce decrees will need to be submitted if there has been a change in name.


6. Fully completed Letter of Authorization to authorize Sam’s Passport and Visa Service to do the service for you.


7. Travel itinerary or a Letter of Expedite from your company showing the date of travel. (A valid proof of travel is necessary for passport expedition.) If you do not have a valid proof of expedition in either form showing a departure date within 5 working days, your passport will not be expedited.
   


8. The Passport Request Form - Link is required for the completion of the passport processing.


9. Please overnight all above documents to our office via Fed-Ex or UPS.

Q. What is a visa? And why do I need one.
A. A visa is a stamp that is affixed to a blank visa page in your passport that is required by foreign countries before you are able to enter their territory.

Q. Do I need to send you my passport in order to receive a visa?
A. Yes, your passport must be submitted with the required paperwork and photos in order to obtain a visa for traveling outside the USA. For visa service in Houston, you can drop off your passport at our agency.

U.S. Citizens who are traveling outside the United States by Air, Land and Sea will now be required to carry a U.S. Passport for entry and exit from the United States, please read the information at these two links, Travel.State.Gov   and GetYouHome.gov

                       
Each applicant must submit a fully completed Passport/Visa Request Form for all services. This form is necessary in order to begin and complete all transactions.
